Not at all. The way you put it on, it doesn't hurt, it's on so far back you barely even feel it, if it were put on at the very tip of your skin, it would hurt. It helps that an experienced person put them on me.

Not to rain on anyone's s&m appreciation parade, but those are just clothespins, not some kind of industrial clamps or metal-toothed battery connectors. While they might make a BIT of an ouch on a nipple or a pussy-lip, I doubt it could be all that intense. My mom used to put clothespins on me when I was a LITTLE (3 years old?)
