What are your opinions on the Beat 'Em Up genre ?
I remember that back in the 90's, the genre was very populair.
Games like Final Fight, Golden Axe, Double Dragon and Streets of Rage were the real money-makers in both the arcades and on consoles.
Now I know that modern games in the genre like Beatdown : Fists of Vengeance, Spikeout : Battle Street and The Bouncer aren't the best of games, but I myself like to play them for some odd reason.
Final Fight Streetwise can't hold a candle when compared to the arcade original, but in a way the game does have a certain charm IMO.
What about you guys ?
