Hi Everybody!
I was surprised to see no thread on the TV show Bates Motel.
I'm just about to watch the premiere episode of Season 5 but first re-watched the finale of seson 4.

Anybody here watch this show? If not I recommend it.
I think its pretty good and I'm a pretty spoiled critic.
It's not on the level of say Breaking Bad, The Wire, The Shield, Mr. Robot, ect but its pretty good and it really has some very good acting in it.
Very well cast show.
Great little scene from the season 4 finale between Norman (English Actor freddie Highmore) and Local Townsfolk Chick played by Ryan Hurst who is a great character actor in my opinion.
Obviously contains spoilers but check out the tension here, such an intense scene.

I would say that the actors of that tv-serie are good but the plot is implausible.

Viewers are angry because Norman Bates ****** with his ******.

I am disappointed because he behaves so normally although he is a psycho.

Original nutcase was much more credible.

You realize this show is the transition of him being normal and than becoming a psycho. He didnt just start off as crazy, things happened to him along the way.

I really like this show. I like how they show how Norman was a a teenager and what happened to make him become the psycho he became. Freddie Highmore does a brilliant job as a young Bates and Im sad this is the last season of this show.
