Barry Bonds

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
Well, the steroid-laden noose tightens around Barry Bonds. Sports Illustrated is featuring excerpts from a new book, "Game of Shadows", about Bonds in it's upcoming issue. Evidently, Barry's rampant use of steriods sets a new standard:

From an article on Fox Sports' website:

The report claims Bonds, who has steadfastly denied such wrongdoing, also used insulin, human growth hormone, a testosterone-derived steroid and trenbolone, a steroid used on cattle.

The book says Bonds injected himself in the rear or was injected by Anderson, but also used pills, liquid and even the cream form of steroids. Authors say Bonds would swallow up to 20 pills at a time.

The book was written by the 2 reporters from the San Francisco Chronicle who blew the lid off the BALCO scandal. By all accounts, it has been extremely well-researched and outlines Bonds' massive **** use in great detail.

Of course, Barry denies and ignores it.

What a shame. This guy would still probably be the best player who ever lived without the 'roids. Now, he's just a cheat.

I say :ban:
