Actually, Derp, I just had lunch with a good friend of mine from Syria. Several of the guys from my unit in the Corps were from the mid east. I don't look at my brothers as black, yellow, white or brown. We're all green. Or at least we were back in the 80s and 90s. So no, I don't have any particular distaste for anyone's racial background; I do show a definite dislike for what passes for culture, though. And if you're paying attention, I have called out Assair for his racist posts, most recently his dumbass diatribe against Arabs.

This too is completely false.

Just a few examples of how false:
In 1968 the assassination of Martin Luther King was followed by rioting in over 100 U.S. cities.
The years 1964 through 1967 witnessed at least 10 major riots, including the Watts riots in L.A.
Then we can go back to a very lengthy era where a great many riots were started by white folks (often against blacks, but also against other minorities/immigrants)
Lowlights include "The Red Summer" of 1919, which saw rioting of such a nature in 26 U.S. cities.
The first 11 years following the end of the Civil War were jam packed with such riots.

So no, Georges. The Obama years have not spawned the highest level of racial riots in US history. That contention is so far from fact it's hard to imagine anyone even making it. Unless perhaps their hatred for the president has blinded them to history.

But you are a Canadian socialist and you are far to know America's history better than me nor than Ace. Stick to Canada's internal affairs, the US and other foreign affiars are apparently not your area of knowledge. So please don't even try to lecture me on history
 
Yes you got me...i'm a Canadian Socialist (The NDP)...I can't stick to Canada's internal affairs since most of the political stories here is mostly American but i'm surprised your American conservative comrades never give you flak since you're from the other side of the planet.

Since it's come up, I'd be interested in your take on the recent political swing in Alberta, and how can we do it in Texas? ;)
 
Looks like folks don't have to worry much about the Baltimore Police being reactive of too proactive because many have decided to be inactive. You realize many government workers instinctively follow the path of least resistance to get their paychecks and now the higher-ups have made police officers concerned about their freedom in addition. I guess with the police not preying on innocent people anymore we can go back to the honor system assuming everything will be just fine.

Wow you're better then me. I just found out about this...a fixed election? i'm not from Alberta but guess i'll take it since an NDP Party won...I'm more familiar with
Andrea Horwath of NDP of Ontario but she lost last year and the party lost their power to the Liberals...I guess you'd have to send an email to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta to get your answer.
 
Brace yourself for the balloon drop. Baltimore reaches 100 homicides for year with overnight shootings. I had total faith in those people that they'd break 100 by Memorial Day. What's Detroit got up on the scoreboard?

I've been seeing these #BlackLivesMatter assholes......I mean protesters, disrupt Memorial Day Services and I keep wondering, do black lives only matter when one of these thugs gets shot by a white cop or someone defending themselves? Because Baltimore had 28 shootings over the weekend and the vast majority (All is a majority, right?) were black on black. So these assholes, I'm sorry, protesters are acting like game wardens claiming only black people should be allowed to shoot other black people. Their false narrative gets a little confusing.
 
Are the cops in Baltimore now doing the kind of strike like their colleagues in New York did?

Just before the end of the month Baltimore put 3 more homicides up on the board bringing the month's total to 43. They came up slightly short to tying the August 1972 record when they were able to commit 45 homicides. In all fairness they had about 900,000 residents at the close of the 1970s as opposed to about 600,000 now so since they have less potential targets they showed more ambition, drive, and effort toward their goal of breaking the record. The heat of the Summer might assist in breaking the actual record with no asterisks needed. GO BALTIMORE! ELEVATE YO ****!
