Backup software

Can someone recommend me a good backup software? I always thought Acronis to be the best, but now I hear lots of bad comments on the newer versions.

I want to completely reinstall my system. Probably with Windows 8 now. Anyway afterwards I want to save a backup of my whole system to be able to restore it on a bigger ssd when I'm able to afford it.

So what's the best out there?

I have heard of Ghost Premium Link Upgrade , and had a IT friend I know used it a while ago. I can't personally attest to how good it is.

Check the link below. A 4 service set done in that basic Euro style. Nice and heavy. Feels like quality for your guiests hands. Worth the $30 to have when needed for extra guests.
