No!

Get it on with a big blue alien chick? Why not, may as well give it a chance. As for the movie, the story may be shit but if the 3D effect makes it into the porn industry it's worth the pain. i can imagine Shyla Stylez leaping out from my TV quite easily...

Rep to you. I would pay to see that. Can we throw the Twilight characters and Harry Potter in the mix to all get skinned by the race of Predators?

Actually, Bluey and I don't always agree.......but he's right, this movie is shit. Just more of Hollywood trying to push more of their big budget special effects on the audience. Fuck writing a good story.......a good story, what's that? And after this summer I thought Hollywood couldn't get any worse, then they release this.

And to top it off it broke $1 billion at the box office and is the 4th largest grossing movie of all time. :wtf:

I can think of a thousand better movies that are more deserving.

Besides that, what a waste of money. Everyone that went and saw this movie could have just given me their money! I would have taken them out back, kicked them in the balls, and we could call it a day. I would also be a billionaire right now, but nooooooo. We want to see a bunch of poorly animated smurfs run around like a bunch of fucktards in a forrest for 2 hours.

Fuck you too, world. :wave2:

But? But? But? But? But?

Oki, Red Indian comparisons here anyone? Big bad White Man bring disease. Well, Cameron & co have a point imo.

Thing is, they all trooped off back to a 'dying world'. Without going into too much depth, the film did drive home the point that we as a race have caused much chaos and hardship in a world that is so simple to live on, with enough abundance for all.

I was wondering whether anyone would make a film about mighty man and his gun not ruling the day, and whoop there it is, the I'm Blue tag team in this movie did it.

There were all kinds of borrowings from other flicks: The Matrix bunch sitting in front of their screens routing the ships back into Zion, some LOR with the birds and animals coming to the rescue, some monster metal shooters from other SciFi films. At one point I was wondering whether JC had simply cut out movie plots/scenes then stuck them together.

I liked the Colonel's prate about 'positive mental attitude'. Just the kind of spiel they feed the masses to perform for the stockholders today.

I, umm, er, nearly brushed away branches and little floaty glowing thingies, so the 3D with the new! improved! glasses was a snap. (I had the last seat right in front, after trying for 2 weeks to get a ticket). The entrance scene where one goes into the lab with the Asian come whatever race she was lab technician was really stunning. One feels one is standing right next to her. I could also feel her warmth. All imagination though.

Can you imagine if the 1st Star Wars, ie the last one, had been 3D? That swoop of the red fighter into the Death Star. Whoo hoo.

I just see several shades of red when it comes to what seems to be a lack of care about our plight, even cheering on destruction. Maybe I am being too emotional or something, but anything to bring home the message that if we don't do something about caring for the world around us we have failed horribly as a species. I, for one, don't want to pass on this kind of legacy.

Now if James Cameron takes some of that hard earned money and helps the poor starving kids in Ethiopia I will really be impressed.

I dunno if he will. It depends on the stockholders I suppose. :2 cents:

Hollywood took in $10.6 billion in 2009. At $11 to see 'Avatar' and $11 to see 'It's Complicated', it's no bloody wonder. I don't even want to know what other countries will be paying.
