No thanks for the 'splain. I'm not alone when I say that I didn't see this, nor any other info on this for some time.

I #PayForPorn. Maybe porn is changing, but my tastes don't. I will not support any porn site that is stream only (meaning purely recorded content. Live cam is different.), that is without downloads. That goes double for buggy garbage with zero customer service like OnlyFans. It would take a very special lady for me to buy into a membership with only 1 model. And I tell this to every model or company that I care about, every content producer that I would like to see but won't purchase. I provide feedback as a customer or potential customer.

I entirely understand your POV. And I think it's a good thing to be vocal about it towards producers, websites, actors and models.
On the other hand, I also understand the POV of the models and pornstars in this, to take things more in their own hands. And I'm not going to apologize about that.
In porn 3.0, they will probably lose a bunch of 'ole fashioned' fans, and gain extra fans (and, in the end, probably more 'direct' money) from the modern young fans. It seems that the last category prefers to just have it streamed on their smartphone. I don't even have a smartphone, so, there you go.

It's happened before with music, on a slightly different scale of course, because, for instance, new music is still availabe as compact disc, vinyl and/or download. When I say that I still buy CD's though, most people shake their head nowadays. Well, fine with me.

Btw, I mainly posted my porn 3.0 message about Autumn Falls to offer a possible explanation about why some ladies don't show up on mainstream (hardcore) paysites anymore, and that it's probably part of new developments in the adult business. I myself am a huge fan of Mia Melano, and I would have preferred her to stay with the Lansky 'gang', too. She quitted after a year though, and is now entirely into the 3.0 developments.
In these times, I personally am all for 'hybrid' thinking. In porn that is: yes, please do your 3.0 thing, but don't forget your other fans who purchase premium memberships on Vixen, Bangbros, Scoreland, DDF Network and Brazzers et al. Not to mention those who still want to buy DVD's or BlueRays. I don't know how good or bad the money is for models who do it the 'good ole' way though. If it's much more profitable for them to switch to 3.0, then the (mostly quite wealthy) company owners might have to change their ideas and offer their stars better money and conditions. I have to admit though that I don't consider myself knowledgeable enough about that subject.

On a final note, I keep my fingers crossed for you, me and all 'ole fashioned' fans, that Autumn will be doing much more 'porn 2.0' vids/scenes again too, in the nearby future.
