Late to this **** - somehow when Freeones first mentioned "saying goodbye to August" my mind just went to the prospect of her retiring from the industry.
While I was not a big fan of her work, I will say this: anytime I heard the phrase "prettiest pornstar" or "too pretty for porn," August Ames was the face I always pictured. And now it looks like I'll have to add "too pretty for this world" to that list.
