It's not so much the fact that you reference the male by name, it's the constant need to type (not featured) in brackets after it each time... as it is completely unnecessary... and when you factor in that people like the last poster might not even understand what you mean by it, then I'd have thought that would be enough to reconsider whether you should keep doing it.
