attachments

hi guys,

any idea why when i try to open any freeones attachments i just get redirected to the forum menu?

for example

but it isn't just that specific one, literally every one of my own attachments takes me to the forum menu

I'm not even sure why you're linking to a direct attachment link like that to begin with though. You should just be attaching an image as an image. They aren't really meant to be links.

Photo icon -> drop image - > profit

i guess thats how its done now but they're all from before the site got updated and were added using the old system, possibly called attachment manager(not sure exactly) I've got about 50 of these attachments bookmarked with no way of finding out what they are so if theirs anyway of seeing them it would be greatly appreciated


most of my threads look like this rather than having the actual picture like you've shown in #4

I don't think there's a way to go back and see what those were from this older format, unfortunately. We're on an entirely different new board software now.

The format is different, but if you have the basic format (https://www.freeones.com/forums/attachments/) and the attachment #'s, you can piece it together. You'll have to do it one at a time, and it will get tedious rather quickly, but it's doable.
