AT&T and Apple's marriage made in hell

Apple has borrowed Sony and Nintendo's marketing playbook....massively advertise and hype a product...release 100,000 units..fan the :flame: of consumer discontent...

..but it only makes them want the product even more :thefinger :dunno:

I can wait until September when the iPhone comes over to Verizon :yesyes:

As long as the iPhone has an exclusive contract with Att, I won't get one. Fuck them both. Fuck them with a stick, a donkey, three pounds of lard, two feet of garden hose, a hand held blender, and five eggs.

Do yourself a favor and get something Android based if you're going to be on Verizon. If, and that's a big if, the iPhone ever comes to Verizon, chances are it'll be functionally locked down further than what is it.

More to the point however, AT&T is a joke at this point, and that's coming from someone that used to work for them. Let's see, let's sell a ton of new phones, which will overcrowd our already stretched network, and then charge them out the wazoo for basic features.

Hmm. Verizon is pretty bass ackward when it comes to tech. Should we all root for the iPhone to Sprint than?

This is so overblown, I've had an iPhone for awhile and I have NEVER had problems with service and anything else. I had Verizon's service before that and found them to be about the same.

Did it occur to anyone that computer issues sometimes just happen at the wrong time? I do work as a computer tech and sometimes shit happens, I don't get what people's issues are with AT&T but there really isn't any difference in service between them and Verizon.

and just remember something else boys and girls, the media is completely manipulated.......just like the cop hitting that woman. Apparently the media likes to make sure that you don't see the entire incident

get my point:hatsoff:

I haven't heard any rumors of that, but considering Verizon and Sprint essentially use the same technology, it'd be a step up undoubtedly.

the iphone is bar none the best phone on the market, i personally use mine with tmobile just cause thats the contract im locked into. but once you learn how to use the phone and you jailbreak the iphone to use third party apps your set. you can literally do anything and everything with it

Not only all that's bee said here, but has anyone around here been contacted by collection agencies or received collection letters on behalf of AT&T Mobility? I've never had cell phone service with AT&T yet I keep getting calls and letters on their behalf. I mean, can't AT&T keep their books right?

One person does not a complete story tell. GSM coverage in the United States is not nearly as strong as CDMA. Speaking from experience working for AT&T, I can tell you their network is not as strong as Verizon especially in rural areas.

Except there is. AT&T didn't even offer MMS despite Apple advertising it for almost an entire year when the 3G came out. AT&T couldn't support the network they were supposed to provide, and then essentially blamed people for wanting the iPhone. Yes, AT&T is at this point, the greater of two evils. Cheaper, but still the greater evil.

Thanks to all for this information.

All of this just for a phone... and one that does a shitty job at that (just the making calls part). I do like the exclusivity though, it gives other companies a reason to try to make a better phone.

Apple's - 4th Commandment
THOU SHALL NOT SAYING ANYTHING BAD ABOUT Apple!!!!

This thread has been reported and some kind folks that love Apple will be showing up at your door shortly.

They are idiots because they'll buy anything Apple makes without looking at the differences between the different companies. Apple computers are just over priced pieces of shit. If I bought an Alienware computer people would laugh, but people don't laugh when you spend extra on an Apple. Apple Fan boys are crazy. I hear Steve Jobs is going to start marketing cardboard boxes with the Apple logo on them to make a few extra billions. $499 for your own box that can't run most applications and the reason for this is because he doesn't like some of them. Clear and simple you take sides when you buy Apple. It's sad.
