Basically page 3 on TV, with the added plus of premium rate call in facilities for "phone sex" which is ridiculous on any channel.

It's pretty lame :D

But teenagers without internet access need something to jack off to.....

Does the UK have a decent Jazz music scene?


I absolutely love the accent(Holly Welllin /Alicia Rhodes,etc.. drive me crazy) & would like to perhaps meet a young lady from the UK someday. Besides obviously traveling there , how do you recommend I meet someone from the UK? Any social Websites?Any Clubs for British expatriates in the U.S.?:dunno:

I'm curious about sports. I know football (soccer to us North American folk) is a big deal, but what else? Do many Brits follow American sports like MLB, NFL, College Football, or NBA. Are sports even a big deal over there? I know they are here. I think we have an inflated sense of importance for our own sports. We think the Super Bowl is a big deal. But do Brits care about that?

I would say that the 3 most popular sports in UK are football, rugby, cricket.
Others that are popular would include Tennis, Snooker & Darts.

I personally prefer the NHL because I had cousins who played hockey.
So there is a connection there.I also like the NFL as we used to watch
the cheerleaders at the World Bowl.But other than that - that's about it. :)

A couple of years ago,I went to to see the Giants and Athletics game (MLB)
but it got a bit boring after a while.It's a good job you could walk around and
enjoy the sights.

No love for baseball, huh? Wow, what a difference. I probably watch or listen to at least 140 Cubs games a year (thanks to TiVo). And I expected football to be popular, but I would have thought golf would have been ahead of cricket and rugby. Hell, The Open is there - the most important, prestigious tournament of the year. And St. Andrews? That's on my list of places to visit before I die.

I guess it was silly to think Brits would follow our College Football. But if you'd been to "The Big House" (Michigan Stadium) you would see the allure of the sport. The place holds 106,000 people. Even as a fan of the visiting team, I was mesmerized by the place. Personally, I would classify Snooker and Darts as "bar games", but that's just me.

I watch MBL if I get chance. Baseball is a pretty cool sport unlike uber-boring ****** yawnarama cricket...zzz...zzz...zzz:*****:

I used to watch NFL but it lacks motion for a field sport. Rugby is far better.

NBA... well now there's a sport... NOT. **** basketball with a passion... stupid lanky freaks...:eek:
