Nothing. It was news for a couple days but after that it died out. Being from Pittsburgh there's only 2 types of news here: regular news and the Steelers. If something big happens with the Steelers, that takes top story over anything. You have to be from here to understand.

I guess when Rothlesberger almost died in that motorcycle accident the city must have come to a halt.

Even though I was in Hawaii at the time serving in the Army, I watched some videos on the news station's sites and it was HUGE!! He's a godsend to this city and him almost dying was probably the biggest story of that year.

I probably watch NFL network more then any other. But no offense, the day my life is so empty that I forever consider my favorite team's QB a 'godsend' I hope I drop dead right then and there.
Sports is supposed to be a passtime, not an obsession.

Oh no offense taken. I'm not saying that he's a gosend as a person, it's a city-wide thing. I'm a Steelers fan for life, but you have no clue how some people here are about them. It borders on lunacy. He's the best QB we've had since Bradshaw and I'm glad we have him and that's as far as I go.

It's Pittsburghers, not Pittsburghians and I don't obsess over sports. Sure I love football, but I don't obsess over it like some people do.
