I don't do selfies. I don't even like being in pictures in general. I tend to either smh or laugh at girls obsessed with taking selfies unless they're showing off some kind of nudity. Half of me wants to give some of the people in that video credit for being somewhat creative but the other half just feels like their desperation for attention just makes them desperate. I could only watch the first 2 min of that video before it became painful to watch.
I exist, therefore I am. While I am not adverse to viewing them from time to time it does get tiring, I am so grateful I don't have an obsession with taking them myself however, it seems pretty addictive.
I have no objection to the concept of a selfie...provided it's a pretty girl. However the term selfie, in of it's self, is a VERY annoying term, and for some reason, angers me.
I don't see the point of them. I'm not against the odd self-taken shot if there is nobody else around to take the photo but that's the only reason. I really miss the days when people would see a stranger struggling and ask "do you want me to take the picture for you?" whereas now they just assume the person is taking a "selfie."
What really pisses me off is this "selfie stick" rubbish. So, you want the photo to be taken from further away? Here's a novel idea ; GET SOMEONE ELSE TO FUCKING TAKE IT.
Me too. I really **** it. It just strikes me as being a rubbish abbreviated non-word that I refuse to use, not that I ever HAVE to use the word, and I always think grown adults sound stupid when using it. It's a *****'s word. I also cringe when people say anything is "totes" anything. Cretins.
