What I mean is this; the term "shemale," if I am not mistaken, was actually coined by the porn industry. To many transwomen it is actually a very offensive term. Now, this porn genre is directed to straight males. So I don't think it's fair to call this guy gay

Just because it is accompanied with fake breasts and hormone replacement - You are still looking at what is effectively a man, often being engaged in sexual activity with another man.

Fair enough on the first point....being attracted to a penis is not straight. But what about the idea of "a chick with a dick?"If liking that is gay, then being attracted to a woman with a strapon must be gay too, right?
As for the second point, I disagree. If someone looks and talks like a woman, chances are a guy attracted to them is being turned on by their feminine properties.
