Anyone have any platinum trophies?

You know what I'm talking about, people. Those imaginary little trophies that you get when you earn every other achievement in the game. The one's you stay up all night to earn and are made out of the shiniest of all imaginary shiny things.

I just got my first one for Heavy Rain. I feel like I am immortal now, even though it was somewhat easy compared to other games. Now whenever someone compares trophies with me they will gasp in awe as that little tiny platinum trophy sits above Heavy Rain, mocking them. Assuming they don't have one, of course.

Anyone else experience the joy of having a platinum trophy?

I have two, Red Dead and RE5, some are way to easy to get, and some the other way around.

i'm actually not that interessted in the trophys... i don't understand why i should spend hours over hours just to get some weird kind of reputation - i rather play the games the way i want to play them; even if that means that i'm not getting all the trophies.

btw: a know a guy who has 51 platinum trophies and 220 gold trophies - that guy's a freak!!!

Personally,I couldn't care less about trophies.One of my all time favorite games didn't either,MSG4.

Dragon Age Origins. I like trophies but won't go out of my way to get a platinum one. Only reason I have one for DAO is because I played the shit out of it.

Have none.... working on heavy rain but I get too distracted in a "how can I make this person die" way to keep focused. I think all I need to do is see all endings for it though.

I don't have any either. Im real close to completting Deadspace, Tekken 6 and Resistance 2. Really Hard!! the Online Trophies are really hard to get.

Thanks to the recent PS3 jailbreak controversy, you can pretty much get hundreds of platinum trophies within a matter of seconds, but I'm pretty sure Sony will find a way to ban PSN users who abuse the trophy system with their hacked PS3 consoles, just like what Microsoft is doing for the 360.

I can't be bothered with platinum, or trophies for that matter. I'll glance through the list when I put in a game and see if I can't pick up a few on my way through. If the game was fun and I feel like playing it a second time, which is very rare, I'll do it. But I won't go through a game just to pick up shit I missed first time through like I did with my 360. Which also means, no more fucking around with veteran difficulty.

But for some reason in MAG, I'm obsessed with getting as many medals as I can. The trophies however come just cause I have damn near 200 hours in a game that I'm hooked on.

I'm pretty sure I had a couple Platinum trophies for a couple games before my hard-drive crashed. God of War 1 and 2 specifically. Possibly Dead Space as well.

Trophies are saved online on your account, yes. Trophies don't ever disappear, even if you switch consoles. They have nothing to do with save files, though.

same here, i dont pay attention to trophies,if i get them then i get them. on XBOX i dont think i ever looked at the achievements ever. yesterday i noticed a number top right of my profile on XBOX and i think it's my gamer score (is that what it is called?) on XBOX? its 10667 and im not even sure if that is good or bad.
