Anyone else **** cosplay?

That's animated imagery! Obviously that is not cosplay where people dress up as a fictional character! Hey everybody! Let's go to RJS's home page and burn it down to teach him the difference! *rabble rabble*

Don't forget pitchforks too

Either way, it turns me on about as much as Coz ;)

I went to a comic-con last month and had an absolute blast. There were probably no less than a thousand cosplayers there from all walks of entertainment. I saw some pretty awesome costumes and even hung out with a few cosplayers on the last day for several hours. I did not see once anybody who did not represent a costume which was not right for their body type or showed way too much skin. I saw a lot of people who spent a lot of time and money into their projects.

For us hanging out on a porn site, yeah, I do see my fair share of half-naked porn girls in their Suicide Squad version of [NOBABE]Harley Quinn[/NOBABE] (which I did not see one girl at the convention dressed as, but plenty of regular old school [NOBABE]Harley Quinn[/NOBABE]). I think the media also when it shows stories or news articles from conventions, they always try to pick the click bait type pictures which will draw people into the article, but from my experience at the convention, I was blown away by how talented these cosplayers are with their outfits.

Instagram girls who put on a pair of fuzzy cat ears and throw up a peace sign are not cosplayers.

I like the real cosplay. Majority of the porn cosplay looks crappy and cheesy. Unless you get a real cosplayer that has no problem doing nude.

Cosplay is, in short... a costume contest at the conventions where anime/video game/movie characters get to geek out, as where a male nerd dresses up badly.. and alt/webcam pornstars use to justify walking in public half naked or making a set where you can jerk off to psylocke from xmen, or .. that **** from every anime, ever. The one with purple/blue/green hair.

As you can see above, just use 'quotation mark fingers' everytime you see a cosplay image of some chick, and you'll be fine. Cuz its 'cosplay'. Not porn. Riiiiight.
Cosplay is this: Adam Savage showing up in costume and seeing how many people guess it is him. (The better half of Mythbusters)

As where a google search of simply: "female cosplay" gets you this:

Ergo my dislike for it. It is 'clothed porn', these days. Or, if you wanted to take it a 'sexist' step further, SJW's beware cuz I'm not on your side.. the male videogame/anime/movie characters always seem to have clothes on. The chicks dont.
Cue points to be made about 'booth babes', emo/goth/altporn chicks actually doing the costume justice, but still putting it on their NSFW blog.. so.. hypocrisy, yada yada. Money talks.

In other news, Melissa Rauch is nerdhot and that Stormi Maya girl looks supermegahawt with her natural 'fro.

This "who hates Cosplay?" thread appears to have evolved into Cosplay Fan Club! We wanted to chime in from a Brand's perspective as we run a Cosplay porn site.

We've come across this debate a lot on reddit and social media. Common questions are: Can Cosplay Porn be considered true Cosplay? Are these stars actually dedicated to Cosplay?

We've always thought that there's room for Cosplay porn, just as there's room for standard Cosplay. It's OK not to indulge in the adult stuff if you don't like it, but why shouldn't it be an option if people have a taste for it, and adult Cosplay porn fans surely shouldn't be judged for it?

For a lot of our models, it's about more than just dressing up and 'looking pretty' which is another common misconception. Cosplaying allows them to explore a new persona, be more adventurous and get a little daring in ways perhaps they normally wouldn't.

Authenticity of the costume itself seems to be at the core of all the debates we see. More and more of our models are putting great time and effort (and $$$!) into producing their costumes, so maybe that debate will die down if that trend continues. Question for those who like Cosplay but not Cosplay porn: does your opinion change if it's a highly accurate costume in the scene?

We just hope there's space for everyone to enjoy Cosplay in their own way! Our 2 cents...
