I was made redundant in February this year, and money is tight!
Anyone else struggling for money this Christmas?

I don't have friends, family or even a soul. So i don't have to spend much. I usually save money during Christmas cause i turn off all the electricity and stay in bed all day.

But seriously Christmas isn't about what you give its about what you GET!!

I'm with you. My wife and I agreed not to get each other anything, and put some stuff for our daughter on credit card. I don't care what I have to do, my kid's not going to miss xmas.

Or - maybe just do the gift exchanging, every other year instead of annually ?
You know what ? to he!! with all of this guilt driven commercialization / manipulation ! People are hurting out there today ! . . and we're expected to just go out shopping and go even deeper into debt, only to further stuff the pockets of the very bastards that have reduced us in the first place ?
