Big congratulations to Shogun Rua for finally becoming a champion...the UFC light heavyweight champion. He was lauded for a very long time as the very best in his weight division in the world by many fight analysts/critics. He had a chance to become Pride middleweight champion but he would end fighting against his friend and team-mate, Wanderlei Silva. A door was open when Dan Henderson beat Silva but then UFC purchased Pride.
Too bad about Kimbo Slice on his lopsided loss. Kimbo was an interesting character. Now for the heavyweights, looking forward to Carwin vs Lesnar fight. Now when will Fedor jump on the UFC board. I heard in the last Strikeforce tournament on CBS, Fedor did not fight because he was asking for more money. According to the commentators, the company did not agree. His Strikeforce future may look doubtful as well...

Kimbo got embarassed, damn i just wanted them to stop the fight after he mounted him. Those leg kicks ****** him he's just to old to fight MMA hes a great stand up fighter though and should try boxing or something where his legs getting hit wont effect him.

Paul Daly. WTF were you thinking??? I think I saw Koscheck say something to him when he mounted Daly. Daly was clearly yelling something at Koscheck, and after the bell made sure Koscheck got the point. Too bad. I liked Daly. He'll fight somewhere else 100%.
Rua achieves justice. Always finish your fights. The judges clearly don't know what they are doing.

Yeah i'm sure someone will sign Kimbo people still want to see him fight. and Daley also that *** could fight he just fucked up hitting Koscheck "goldilocks" after the fight.
Goodbye Kimbo and Paul. Both could've made something of themselvs but one hit his peak and the other made a stupid as hell choice. Shogun realized that his kicks won't do the job, Lyoto doesn't have the same KO power so Shogun felt comfortable to rush Lyoto and get that KO. Josh and Paul are assholes but Paul should've actually hit Josh during the fight.
good show! i like kimbos personality, but it ****** me to see him in the ufc. i just knew he was never cut out for it. im glad they got rid of him, he needs to be more in the wwe or tna wrestling! as for daly, i def. think they needed to be severe with him because they dont want the brand to turn into a bushwack like strikefarce.
lastly, i have to say i love dana white and how he runs things. however i thought he could have at least cut kimbo in a better manner. itd be tough to hear how you lost your job right after a loss. at least do it privately and then go public with him getting cut.

People thought Kimbo was gonna leave a while ago and I'm sure Kimbo knew this fight was gonna either keep him in the UFC or not.
Yeah he is too old. I feel bad for the guy because it seems like fans like to see him get beat up after those backyard brawling videos he did years ago knocking people into shrubs.
as to kimbo being to old...he probably is but i also haven't seen an evolution in his fighting style either he keeps doing the same **** all you've gotta do is watch video of him and you'll know his m.o.

He got cut because of the late punch and the weird conversation he had with Dana White after the fight.
In his personal interview splashes during his Ultimate Fighter show, Kimbo keeps saying again and again...that he's a streetfighter not an MMA fighter. Rampage gave him his dues though for working hard and learning new stuff.
Dana said that he did not believe Daley's BS..."I did not hear the bell." (source: Yahoo sports)

Well, Rashad had a safe gameplan and it worked, for the most part. Rampage deserves so much credit giving he was out of action, over weight and got "rocked" early. Rampage had the win on Rashad's playing field (ground) but stopped attacking for some reason. They'll fight again and Rampage will sure as **** win. The fight with Todd and the "punching" bag? WOW!
