:wtf: I usually don't run straight to FO's to voice my opinion right after a fight, but just got done watch Couture & Vera on Spike live from manchester.

What that fight was WAS SO FIXED THERES NO WAY COUTURE WON THAT FIGHT. BRANDON VERA WON THAT FIGHT, THERE'S NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. :thefinger:cussing::2 cents:

Don't agree on the verdict being a fix, but I do agree that it was a horrendous decision and Vera was robbed.

Bisping looked good in his fight after a shaky start.

Vera was robbed for sure. All Couture did was hold Vera against the cage. He had 1 weak takedown.

What I thought was funny was when Couture had Vera against the cage, the ref let it go for a minute or two. When Vera had Couture taken down and had top position, the ref stands them up after 10 seconds.

I really think this might have been fixed. I know judging can be bad, like the Machida/Shogun fight, but at least Machida landed some punches and won a round or two. Vera cut Couture, hurt him with his kicks, took him down, and defended the "legendary grecco takedowns" from Couture the entire fight.

Bullshit. I'm glad this was free, or I would be fucking raging if I paid 55 bucks for a pre determined fight.

On the other hand, Dan Hardy looks like he might be the first legitimate challenger to St.Pierres title.

1. Its unique
2. Its no worse than anybody else's celebration after a gratifying moment of acomplishment (I am refering to any and all sports)
3. It shows emotion

I am not trying to start a fight, nor am I criticizing you, I just think its selfish for you too say that instead of seeing the more deserving man win the fight, your good with the way it worked out, making the UFC look bad & suspect to say the least, all for the sake of you not wanting to see Vera's victory celebration. that's all I am saying. :dunno::2 cents::hatsoff:

There is nobody in there right mind, IMO that thinks based on what (WE THE PEOPLE) who watched and saw that fight, could or would honestly say Couture won the fight or even deserved to win that fight.

Although I am a fan of Randy's. IMO its seriously time for him to retire, cuz I think Vera could do some serious damage in the UFC if he is given a fair shot. :2 cents::hatsoff:

That's what is cool about Couture, he's really up there in fighter years and he is still holding his own with guys bigger, stronger and younger than he is-- Sylvia, Gozanga, Vera.

To be honest I don't think Vera can really do much in the UFC right now. I think the light heavyweight division is too stacked with better fighters than him. I also don't think he can move back up to heavyweight with this seemingly being the era of huge fighters like Lesnar and Carwin.

You would still have the possibility of decisions.

It might help, though. There are some fights that I wish had a few more rounds.

They have to do somethin about these decisions. More points for cuts/power shots and less points for takedowns and "control". Control shouldn't be taken into consideration. Sure Couture was "controlling" the fight, but he was also getting his ribs bruised and head cut open while "controlling" the fight.

the news about Lesnar this weekend was not good. Dana White says lesnar is in bad shape and White does not know when Lesnar fight again.

Jay 1980- I was about to jump your case when saying that about Brandon's dance but I scrolled down and saw where you were not serious.

Brandon was robbed. He is trained by Lloyd Irvin. I used to take BJJ under Team Lloyd Irvin. Lloyd, Brandon, Ed Clay, and 90% of that team are awesome guys.



To the one who said Lesner has his hands full. Hell yeah he does, he has a real bad case of Mono. Hope he gets better. Another interiem title in the heavyweight division is coming up.

Why do so many hate on GSP? He is the hardest worker in the UFC. He doesn't mouth like he used to when he was younger? Nobody around in his division is going to beat him for a while. Sorry.

Herschel Walker will put on a fight for Strikeforce in Janurary. Going to be interesting to see one of the worlds greatest athletes(in his prime) merge into MMA.

Watching The Ultimate Fighter these past weeks I am starting to not hate Rashard Evans. He is actually a weel rounded guy. He is down to earth to his guys, he is a work a holic, he actually has some brains in his head(unlike Rampage), he uses his cockiness correctly, and he can fight.

Rampage on the other hand,,,horrible temper, a little lazy, typical street attitude from Memphis, but by God is Manny can be Manny Rampage can be Rampage. Still enjoy the character
