Yeah, Pam's roast was a gas! Loved especially Sara Silverman, she is the best.

Maybe you should host a roast too one time?

Yeah, I taped last nights roast, I'll watch it later. I guess for me it's more about who's roasting, and not who's being roasted.

It's pointless and often times just becomes rude, vicious and flat out insulting. This is supposed to be light-hearted humor. BTW, has Bob Saget, Pamela Anderson or Flavor Flav really had a career of any kind.

That's the whole point of them. Oh how I would've loved to been to one of the old Friar's Club roasts back in the day before they were forced to admit women.

Pamela Anderson? Only the most wanked-off-to chick back in the 90s with 2 sex tapes, Baywatch and huge.. incredibly bad celebrity marriages in her resume`.

Flava Flav? He's so laughable.. why CANT we roast someone like him? His name is funny.. his discography is.. well.. not horrible, considering. His reality show was funny. (In a laughed-at, not laughed-with way) We must roast him on principle. But.. we actually mean it with this character.

Bob Sagat? Full HOUSE??!? His humor these days is incredibly crude, crass, and cussworthy. I love his adult humor. It's just so.. offensive. ;)

Dont forget TOURETTES GUY! Seriously.. when someone can turn BOB SAGET into a cussword.. CLASSIC. Instant classic.

I thought this one was one of the best. Norm McDonald, and Gilbert Godfreid didn't do much for me, but Cloris Leachman fuckin KILLED, and Jeffery Ross and Greg Giraldo did a fantastic job, as usual.

The only true roasts were the Dean Martin Roasts. They were hysterically funny while being clean. I'm not a fan of clean humor, but those are one of the few exceptions I'll make. The roast of Dean Martin himself, especially Don Rickles part is fall down funny!

The roasts these days suck and I do not watch them.

The new ones are just bad insult comics trying to pass themselves off as being even remotely entertaining. Or funny.

norm and gil kicked ass. especially norm's deliberately terrible jokes and bizarre delivery. he stole the show

I just watched Norm McDonald doing his bit on Saget's roast. Now, I was a semi-fan of McDonald's some time back, but I gotta say, I don't see the genius in what he did there. If that's as good as these celeb roasts get (I chuckled once or twice), then I guess I'll just pass on more...

Bob Saget is a huge target for ridicule, he should've been some EASY laughs.

I disagree. I feel Norms attempt at deliberately sucking, just plain sucked. Gilbert wasn't terrible, but I think he could have been better....his "asshurts" joke was an A+ though. Norm tanked bad as far as I'm concerned.
