so heres my story. i got a hp pavilion dv9000. it broke on me way back when and i bought a new one cause the warranty was expired. turns out the problem that broke it was a common problem, so they fixed it for me reciently and sent it back to me. the problem is i cant remember my password to log in once i start it up. its windows xp. does anyone know how i can do a complete format and restore to from factory specs without restore disks? please help!
