Any Beatles fans?

I was at Abbey Road just before it was the 40th year thing,
I nearly fot run over lol.

My favourite LP is Revolver.
My favourite track is most probably, 'The Fool On The Hill'
but depends on what mood I'm in :)

A Day In The Life
A Little Help From My Friends
And Your Bird Can Sing
Day Tripper
Drive My Car
Getting Better
Girl
Good Day Sunshine
Got to Get You into My Life
I'm Only Sleeping
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
Taxman
When I'm Sixty-Four

They had a bunch of good songs on the first albums, but I wouldn't call myself a fan.
I always have to take a lot of abuse when I say that they aren't the best band ever and John Lennon was not a genius.
There is always someone falling into that trap.:)

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
My favorite has always been "Nowhere Man". I started listening to the Beatles when I was a teenager and have been hooked ever since.

It'll probably surprise you to think that I am a Beatles fan, but here I am. Impossible for me to pick a favorite track, or even album, though Day Tripper, Tomorrow Never Knows, A Day In The Life, Here Comes The Sun, It's All Too Much, Get Back and Long And Winding Road are just the start of my favorites.
The remarkable difference between the original Let It Be album and Let It Be...Naked are a huge testament to how remarkable the boys sounded when they went simplistic, without the bells and whistles - yet the likes of Rain, I Am The Walrus and Revolution #9 shows that they were light years ahead of their time. There are some genres which still have not come close to them even today.

Defnitely early-period Beatles for me (first six British-release LP's up to and including Rubber Soul); there was a time when almost every song on the early albums could've been a single.

Most overrated band of all time!
John Lennon is the most inappropriately adored pop star, a sanctimonious swine!

Absolute heresy. For everyone one person that says something like this, there are 500 more who call bullshit! The Beatles have been and will always be the greatest pop band ever. It is impossible to replicate what they did. Many have tried. None have ever succeeded.

John may have been overrated, but he was the mastermind behind the music inevitably. Lennon was the creativity and the brains, Paul was the heart and soul, George turned into an essential part, but could've been replaced. Although he was credited with some of their best material. Ringo was just Ringo, I really don't think he could've been replaced and helped create the same energy, but certainly the weakest link.

Check out the article in last issue's Rolling Stone. Great indepth story.

I pretty much love anything done by The Beatles. Very hard to choose a favorite. Maybe "Hey Jude". Or "Love Me Do".

I also want to get The Beatles Rock Band.

Beatles are FREAKING awesome... Can't wait for the Beatles Rockband Version

My fav tunes are:

Here Comes The Sun
With a Little Help from My Friends
I've Just Seen A Face

You have to give some credit to thier producer for their sound later in their career...if anyone is in to jazz, theres a guy named brad mehldau who released an album last year after working with the same producer. Completely changed his sound (not typical jazz) and produced a very cool album including a version of dear prudence...

I like the Beatles.
I like the early stuff pre-pepper best.
The early stuff of The Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Who and many others is just great.
