Another Police Tazer Story

This ones from my home town, quite an old story but it came up on the news again this morning saying that all the police officers "acted lawfully" and were in the right to tazer the man repeatedly, apparently because he was resisting arrest from 5 police officers...did i mention he's 40 years old and was quite drunk? yeah...

The police are getting tasers in Glasgow so they can taser you , then whack you around a bit with there batons without as much as a whimper

But no doubt they will just use it on drivers going 5 mile over the speed limit or going through a red light , the only people they usually try and catch , they will end up just abusing it as well

Yep no doubt, if anyone tried to say anything during this tazering then they would probably get tazered too, i think they get a bit to volt happy with them things.

pepper spray doesn't always work and firearms would be the last resort then. not so much of a great idea, is it?

at the end of the day, police want to go home safely. if that means tazing somebody rather than going hands on where there's greater injury risk to all parties, then that's what happens.

just because a tazer story is on the news doesn't mean it was used incorrectly. so the poor drunken idiot got zapped for a few seconds. boo hoo. he's fine.

and then they get sued for fighting somebody because the ACLU doesn't like the way something went down. no officer wants to get in a physical altercation. it's ridiculous to say they should have to rather than use an device that can end the threat

The ACLU should be ignored.

Police haven't had nor needed tasers ever, so they don't need them now.

Most of the time the police should have left the person or persons alone.

This is supposed to be a free country not Nazi Germany.

Police officers love to get into physical altercation. On the video that was with the article i posted (video removed now) it shown you the police officer punching the guy, who btw is ON THE FLOOR not moving, several times. Theres no need for that and theres no need to tazer him while hes on the floor.

Who needs tazers when they should have a good old fashion firearm and if the suspect is getting out control you just put a bullet in their kneecap. I mean, come on!
