Annoyances

Yea, you're in bed at night, watching tube, being courteous to others in the household and the Fortune 500 give you a blast of decibels ! :crash: :1orglaugh

One more rant for the day -

How "we" engage / entertain this Mahmoud "A-mad-jihad" character @ the UN and Columbia Univ.

The only thing appeasement (of foe) has delivered . . . the pejorative, pie in face of host. !!

Take Care

^hmmm, i see - resentful about NOT being a member of the Fortune 500?:1orglaugh

At least someone doesn't fit the description of your doctor !

I hope !

And Free - It took me 'bout 20 years to finally discover that, in my reality, Wall Street, collectvely, are the biggest bunch of white collar criminals on the planet.
as illustrated with their love affair with outsourcing / insourcing, and how the real $$$$ are generated via insider trading. Duh !

Take care there

I was just kidding. yes, i agree: for proof read my posts on the thread 'Are you worried about the economy?' Hypocrisy, writ large :)

Annoyances ?

How the 64oz. (US) (half gallon) of ice cream has universally gone away !!

A . . . And nobody ever noticed !

Go 'head . . . you tell me what "they'd'' reduced it to ? WTF ? !!

All the best ~

That is an annoyance...and I noticed...I know my ice cream.
The half gallon is now I believe 1 3/4 quarts 56 oz.

I get annoyed at delivery people who EXPECT a tip and/or complain about the tip they get.

First of all, if you don't deserve a tip, you're definitely not going to get one. I'm not going to shell out a few extra bucks because you suck at your job.

Secondly, standing there with your hand out, just waiting for me to put money in your palm isn't the best way to entice me to open my wallet for you. Just be polite, courteous and act like you don't even need the tip...then, you'll get a few bucks.

I **** when people in front of you on the road take forever to turn at an intersection even when the path is clear and there are no cars. They make you slow down or stop in back of them unnecessarily.

I **** when people in front of you on the road take forever to turn at an intersection even when the path is clear and there are no cars. They make you slow down or stop in back of them unnecessarily.

Hallelujah! You know I actually pay attention if there is someone behind me when I'm making a turn and make an effort to be quicker if there is. (After all, you don't want to get rear ended.) But my tires at least utter a little squeak on nearly every turn anyway. I especially **** this when you are driving at a decent speed and not even following closely and someone takes FOREVER to slow down and make their turn into a side street. And don't even get me started if they don't use their blinker for said turn...

^^^Sometimes, very rarely, if the person in front of me is making a left turn at an intersection and is making their turn very slowly or not at all despite the fact that the traffic is clear, I make a left turn first around them by cutting across the other side of the intersection. I only do this when I can see the traffic is clear, I know I can make it, and there is no one coming from the left who might make a right turn. Big, spacious intersections are helpful but not a must. Now really, NO ONE should EVER do this, but it is a real shocker to the person in front of you, and I can only hope a ****-up call. I don't do this if I have any passengers in the car. Sometimes I drive crazy when I'm alone.

***********.

They're beautiful. But for frick's sake stop the teasing and just bare it all. EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU! They get paid so many thousands or millions to make a movie and.. and.. NOTHING! No sex, no tits. Not even in the vicinity of a pussy close up while spread. Damn you Nicole Kidman, damn you Paris Hilton.

How people(s) of former, representative government countries, lash out against current / or remaining representative governing countries and their peoples.

It's an interesting phenomena !
In other words - Said peoples embrace their neo - superior oppressive government. When you lose, say, for example, your free speech rights in a given country, it is typically along the lines of - Free Speech Welcome - So long as it is against ambient nations who enjoy such liberty.
Criticism, constructive or otherwise, of former representative govt. countries by said citizens of that country is likely punishable by law.

By nature, these frustrated, and in some cases jealous, peoples, need to vent out their grievances . . . right ? You follow ?
In essence, what is then created are soldiers, against the very devices / entities of which were previously enjoyed . . . no longer.

They embrace what they ****, if you really think about it . . .

A genius strategy, in the creation of one really ugly future, laden entirely of / with subjugation.

- Annoyance For Today

:1orglaugh >(or not) :1orglaugh

Wait ! 'nuther . . .

When people don't put a space between the period and the following Cap letter, beginning a new sentence.

Take Care ~

Wait ! 'nuther !

My naivety, believing that my local monopoly grocer has been honest with me.

Some of us may remember those times when the attendant / cashier would actually call out the price of each item that they "rang up" no longer.

I have heard that there's frequently a line at grocery checkout BY DESIGN . . . think about it - If you're in line and other customers stack up behind you, wouldn't you feel reluctant to look at your receipt and appeal to said cashier ? The cashier that had just registered your order in what seemed to be near light speed ?

My total $$$ seemed a bit ^^ yesterday, albeit, a measley $48.00 & change, so I then reviewed my receipt, item by item.

Here were the wrongs -

Advertised eggs 1.79 Charged 2.99

Gala Apples .99 lb.(US) Charged $1.99

A 1/4 Ham Ad 2.99 lb.(U.S.) Charged 5.69

"Corn" which I did not put in my cart $1.99

I brought it to the attention of the store manager, of which, I had to wait an additional 7 minutes for . . . for which door / crevice they emerged from, who knows, in this rather large warehouse of a store.

Turns out - I was overcharged - They refunded me my money without incident.

Now, I have a question for you, the astute audience . . .

Say, if I return to the same store and pick out the same items, only to be overcharged again, what's the recourse ? Is this legal behavior ?

However menial, I'd like to bitchslap this monopoly, in some way shape or form.

I now see a history of questionable items on my collection of grocery receipts  'can't really do a damn thing about those.

Will you look at things differently after reading this ?

Keep an eye out . . . will ya ? :o

How about slow drivers. Lately I've seen the worst drivers around my area. People backing out without looking behind them, merging without checking their mirror or blindspots. Just inattentive drivers all together. Drives me f'in nuts.

^ I agree: driving too slowly can be just as hazardous as driving too fast, although I suppose the former err on the side of caution:dunno:

charles barkely.

why i oughtta... :shakesfist:

People who "no call, no show" to work and then you fucking have to work their shift because they're fucking assholes.
