Quite an insult to Michelle Pfeiffer and her performance in Batman Returns though.
Then again, so was Halle Berry, I hear.
Anne Hathaway is really pretty, but a good actress she is not, and definitely not a good fit for the Batman franchise.
In my humble opinion.
You're probably too young to remember Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether and Eartha Kitt then.

Great news. Nothing against Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal, but so far none of the women that Nolan has cast in the Batman films have done it for me. This certainly changes that.

First off PLEASE stop saying that Halle Berry's flick was Catwoman as it at least should take place in Gotham City. Anne could be great Catwoman like Newmar, Kitt and Meriweather and Michelle
