Anna Nicole Smith Found Dead

I don't have a whole lot of nice things to say about that one. So if you don't want to read a negative POV then stop now...

She was a self-destructive, self-serving, low-life who was incredibly fortunate because of her looks to cum into wealth she neither deserved nor could handle.

She burned the candle on both ends, so it's no surprise her only legacy is a reality show that showed her worst side. And she didn't even leave an attractive corpse. One less oxygen thief... cry me a river.

Her mother says drugs and a private medical examiner...so the Chicago Tribune says .....

Ivy

I have seen her mothers interview. In all fairness she wasn't there and admittedly was kept away from any contact as well as all relatives with her daughter for sometime. Her "people" apparently kept them at arms length. So in my way of thinking and from her mother's own words, she knows no more of what went on in her life than we do. She guessed/assumed the same way the world is guessing I think. I am curious though how a mother can sit and talk to the press about her daughters death with no emotion. Not one tear, that's crazy.

This is a case that hasn't yet been ruled out as foul play. I don't believe the police would let a "private medical examiner" examine her body before the coroner does his autopsy.

Nice to know when she dies it's a front page story but when soldiers die in Iraq they're lucky if it's even reported let alone their names being printed. Yep... the media at it's finest.

Her Mother's lack of emotion when discussing her Daughter's death wasn't far off from Anna's lack of emotion when discussing the death of her Son.

It's been 40 years - nothing has changed.

You, of all people, should have known that.

Don't blame the media 100% - they only serve what the American people want. They only share part of the blame.

cheers,

Difference is the amount of complaining about it... ;)

I agree with you, but people also learn to eat what they're fed.

The more they see it the more they want it, whatever it is. :(

Does the chicken come before the egg?

Does violent behavior create more movies and TV about violent behavior or is it the other way around?

It's a shock because she was a household word holding such a high profile in recent months and suddenly was gone. Like an accident victim, you just don't expect something to change that fast.

So why is it entirely the fault of media?

Shouldn't those who "consume" demand "better" ? The choice is theirs after all. Patronize the ones you think are responsible and boycott the rest. If everyone with a social conscience did it, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

As always - responsibility begins with the self. Don't like trash? Don't watch it. Organize complaints and boycotts against it. You sign away the 'responsibility', you sign away your liberty.

cheers,

PS: "she was a household word holding such a high profile in recent months" .... er, "high profile", "house hold word" ? :dunno:

Not sure I know what you're talking about. Maybe I'm just growing old ...

Actually Anna Nicole Smith "collapsed", she was not found in the hotel room but in the lobby. This clearly pointed to arrthymia secondary due to imbalance of body chemicals, and drugs. It is not necessary drug overdose but interaction of multiple drugs and low potassium etc.

Significant weight loss, post-partum depression, weight gain during pregnancy pointed to the fact she is predisposed to arrthymia.

It is a sad ending but it is our society continued to worship her fake tits, her oversized body and so-called shallow beauty !:glugglug:

UPDATE: Her body ordered preserved until 02/20/07 for paternity hearing. Now why on earth don't they take the DNA now and move on?

http://www.cnn.com/
Yeah... that's disturbing. The girls dead and now they're not even gonna lay her to rest because of some stupid BS. The simple fact that they wouldnt voluntarily agree to do the paternity test and get the thing over with tells me that they're probably scared (or perhaps already know) that that other guy really is the dad.

I don't think I said it was entirely the fault of the media. In fact, I think the media and consumers feed off each other.

Household word would be something I see almost daily on the news and other TV and I think since the death of her Son 5 months ago, and her ill fated reality TV show, you could call her a household word. Like brand recogniton she's right up there, everyone knows who she is.

You know, I'm not sure I know why you don't know what I'm talking about. :)
