You have a choice- you can start voting these oppressive, money-hungry sons of bitches (regardless of party) out of office starting in 2010. Or, you can continue to give them your money, willingly or not, for whatever cause they want to burn it for.
Pick out ONE thing the federal government has fixed to the point where you've said "Man, they sure do a good job at that!" Or one federal program that is run with such efficiency, your faith in them is strong.
Social Security is said to have been broken for a long time- it's been an election issue for almost a decade. Guess what... not fixed.
And this is who some people want running medical care for everyone.
Astounding. Ominous. Because after they have jacked the price of a 20 ounce soda in the US to $3 or $4 each, they'll find whatever it is you love, and they'll tax the **** out of that, too. Porn? The internet? Fast food? Meat? Your own vegetable gardens? Remember a few years ago when they wanted to make multi-vitamins controlled substances?
It absolutely will not stop with these folks until we fire each and every one of them over the next couple election cycles. We need term limits, and REAL bans on lobbyists. And a federal government about 1/3 the size it is now.
