It's kinda too folky for me, maybe in due time I can get accustomed to it, 'till then, I'll remain in wonderment as to why they kept the AIC moniker.

Jerry Cantrell made a point of asking the band's fans if they wanted more AIC, or if they wanted them to do something different/call it something else.

AIC is back, so there's the answer they got.

Thx, H :hatsoff:

It's too bad that the band had experienced so much ''down time" from the time of Layne's passing until recently with the release of this new, apparently well received release, I suppose that there were a variety of reasons but it just seemed like forever.

my favorite songs of the new album are:
- Check My Brain
- Lesson Learned
- Your Decision

Love the new album, although it is very different from their "classic" stuff.

I just got tickets to see them in DC in March, I'm psyched! :)

I've only really heard Check My Brain, but everytime that song plays on the radio I crank it.

AWESOME!!! Keeping on with a new vocalist was definitely the right thing to do. I was unsure at first, as Alice was my favorite band to come out of the grunge scene, but William Duvall sounds great!

14 years has gone by since their last album ? At this rate I'll be dead and gone by tomorrow ! Sheesh~ Recent Q & A and general shooting the shit w/ AIC ~
As you can see, Jerry is quite content away from the spotlight, the chatterbox he is :scream:

Actually, it sounds to me like Cantrell is singing lead on most of the songs.....all except Last of My Kind and A Looking in View.

Correct me if I'm wrong. :dunno:
