Al Gore's nomination

Will E Worm

Conspiracy...
Senior Democrats mull Al Gore's nomination.
Plans for Al Gore to take the Democratic presidential nomination as the saviour of a bitterly divided party are being actively discussed by senior figures and aides to the former vice-president.

The ****** civil war between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama has left many Democrats convinced that neither can deliver a knockout blow to the other and that both have been so damaged that they risk losing November's election to the Republican nominee, John McCain.

Former Gore aides now believe he could emerge as a compromise candidate acceptable to both camps at the party's convention in Denver during the last week of August.

Doesn't anyone else find it... duplicitous that his ****** fortune was built on strip mining metals?

Or that his new personal wealth is built on 'Green companies'... specifically those 'carbon offset' arrangements like Ahnold is buying to justify flying home in California each night?

But I guess he had better make the most of his position as 'world savior' now... considering a recent study cited in even mainstream AP reports noted that 10 years of 'global warming' had been nullified by a single year's measured cooling.

So let's join Al in protecting what we can, and lets get free of the heroin that is Middle Eastern oil, but don't try to act like using filament bulbs & driving my SUV is going to **** us all within the next 20 years... unless you can prove that those behaviors are what impact sun spots & cattle flatus, & the million OTHER causes of CO2 production and global heat!

Then again, he'd be guaranteed at least one delagte vote, sine he remains an 'unaligned superdelegate (& how is it that Dean's committee can still claim the 2000 election was rigged or stolen when your and my vote matters no more in the determination of the Democratic candidate?)

I thought I read where Al Gore though it was very unlikely that he would get back into any presidential race anytime soon.

As far as global warming, people shouldn't use ad hominem arguments against it because of Al Gore. I don't exactly like the man either, but I not going to blindly look away when the vast majority of the planet's scientist and the mountains of evidence behind them support his position because it might actually cause some people to sacrifice some of their luxury and convenience for the greater good. The people that either don't believe that global warming is happening or don't believe humans are the cause of the vast majority of it will someday be remembered up there with the likes of geocentricism, holocaust deniers, and the Flat Earth Society.

I can't see him actually taking the nomination if they offered it. He is a riding pretty high on the global warming thing and is treated like a savior all around the world. Being president couldn't be any fun after that!

What about the people that didn't believe the last big climate to do? Remember when the new ice age was coming just 30 years ago. That has pretty good backing from the scientific community also. I don't believe it is settled science and it is a pretty weak debating tactic to say "it's settled and there will be no more discussion." Why can't there be more discussion?

manbearpig is real!... And the sooner we all understand that, the more likely we can save the earth from manbearpig!

I would welcome Gore's nomination. I would have chosen him in the primaries had he been an option. On the other hand, it is a little bit sneaky to nominate someone on your own and nullify all the votes for Obama and Clinton.

sigh...

ad hominem?

no fallacial thinking, any more than insisting that our interpretation of 10 or 20 or 100 years of a cyclical system measured in aeons is accurate or even precise.

the 'Holocaust denier' is a nice touch...
sorry, I see ManBearPig as Hitler at the podium screaming his **** and 'one vision' until the crowd mind takes over & usually thinking people throw up an arm in salute and let him begin to slaughter those millions of innocents...

Is the world warmer today? Do we contribute? Sure.
But no one has proven that we are the primary cause.
Or that eliminating fossil fuel use will stop or reverse it.

And for a non fallacial thought:
we CAN adapt in a hotter climate... we can still grow crops.
Farming stops if it gets too cold.
So be careful what you wish for.

But as a candidate? why not throw his hat into the ring... it'd make for some interesting teledrama as the newsies try to decide which ***** they want to push into the race!

Alice Cooper mentioned this yesterday on his radio show.

it went something like this.

"So Al Gore is going to be running for the presidency. A lot of people like him. It's sure to be a big mess. And if you believe anything that I just said, remember what day it is (April 1st.) But actually, I heard this on the internet. and you know, if they say it on the internet, than it has to be true."

I wasn't aware of that. I am familiar with his families involvement with Occidental Petrol and the most controversial (yet totally hushed) sale of the Lost Hills Naval Oil Reserves.

Yea it's duplicity !

I wouldn't trust this man in any capacity.
He's always rode on others' coattails i.e. never a natural leader on his own.
During the Bubba presidency, Hillary was vice President, not Al lol !

He'd be nothing if it weren't for his ******. Ol Algae is a man that has been beaten down and tormented over his political career and he wants revenge on those who've succeeded him.

First Class Fraud . . . like the rest !

Sorry
