Evangellion Shoot! Mari x Asuka!

An update on my Mari x Asuka shoot! Woo!

I filmed it yesterday with Viola Turtledove and it was amazing! Unfortunately we lost the sound for the girl/girl video and we can't reshoot it. The footage was really good though so I will dub it, and make some fun voice over puns in the non sexy bits. I shot a solo set of Mari too, which I'll get the photos back for mid January. I can't wait to see them all finished!

It took us about an hour to get all done up, I couldn't get the bloody contact lenses in! After we'd finished shooting we where a bit shitty it took so long to get into and it was all over, so we decided to keep the costumes on during our trip to the cinemas to see The Hobbit. Got a few stares thats for sure, but most people outside the asian beer cafe knew who we where XD I got a few snaps on the phone:

Cosplay is good fun. It's worth it just for the looks you get when out in public lol One time I actually had my photo taken with a bunch of transit police hahaha.
Maybe you should take up belly dancing as you do have the hips for it I actually know someone who teaches it.
How were the pancakes btw?

I'm not sure what you mean by combined cosplay and gaming. I've cosplayed characters from games before and I've a few more in mind for next year.

My favorite thing about cosplaying is the roleplaying involved. When I put on a character's I become that character. It's a chance to have a whole new attitude and perspective on things, and try things I wouldn't normally get a chance, or feel inclined to do. You also meet some great people cosplaying

Glad you liked my beach set I love the shells on the red bellydance outfit. If only I could belly dance. Something to learn in 2013 maybe? I've got the hips for it

Trial run of makeup and hair for Jessica Rabbit (thinking of filming a BJ scene in this costume, because I want an excuse to bat some seriously huge eyelashes cause it looks awesome in PoV style.

Lol, yes the adoring and totally bizarro public Last Halloween I went as Daria and some Ambo's got a picture with me, said his kid loved Daria and he had to have a pic. What a cool dad
I do need to do some sort of excersize for 2013, and due to arm and knee injuries I can't do weights or arm lifting, so belly dancing might just be the best idea I've had yet. And by me, I mean you! I'm going to look that up.

I had lemon and sugar pancakes and they where super amazing. I was totally nuts and peppy in the cinemas after though... SUGAR!!!

Oh, you are probably right!

I haven't done much larping because there aren't many groups around. There is a old world of darkness vampire larp group around that I'll definitely join as some friends are in it, or have been. I get a bit social anxious around big groups, especially strangers so its good that one is hosted above a bar.. liquid courage before game it is! I'm hopefully going to join a stargate lasertag larp group next year too, but the government in AU just changed replica firearms licencing laws so things are a big fat mess, so we will see.

I'll dress up for both of those 100%

The waiter was so cool! When we came in he was guessing what we where from. His gf and him are cosplayers themselves, so he was chatting to us for ages!

I have been to a boardgame group though where they play similar type games but no cosplay was involved. I understand the social anxiety part when you are in a room of about a 100 people and you only know 1 other person. It also was above a pub but I didn't do the liquid courage thing

Yep, live action roleplaying.I love board games, I prefer them to larps. Sitting down is fun, as is pointing and hissing "NO YOU'RE A CYLON!" in a games shop at everyone sitting around you. Heh

The laws covered ALL replica firearms. Even kids ones that are colorful, or have the orange tip are banned because people remove them or repaint so they look real and use them for things they shouldn't. Disappointing but understandable. The stupid thing is as far as I can tell, my actual gun licence doesn't cover replica fire arms... I need a separate permit! How stupid is that!

LARPing is huge. In the states I think the biggest group is called NERO (I was just part of a little orlando group that did a norse based fantasy larp). Over here in Europe, especially Denmark, people dedicate a lot of time and money to their weapons and costume. I'll have to see if I can't dig out some of my Elf Fantasy Fair photos from a few years ago that I took, which is a fantasy festival here in the Netherlands.

Not quite what I was thinking of - the delight of a wedding outfit is the thought that a bride is only hours away from being repeatedly fucked on her wedding night....

I am very much interested in the prospect of seeing and hearing your evil laugh. Can't put my finger on it, but I have this strong feeling it'll be hot I think anyone who can dedicate themselves to Cosplaying deserve plenty of credit as it takes a good amount of dedication if you want to do it well. I consider myself 100% certifiable geek, so I don't know if a sexy Nerd like yourself would go for that.

Not going to lie, I will push and shove whoever I need to do to be first in line to see you and Lolita together in picture and/or video form and I am not a violent person by nature I assure you. I'd like to think if I could be any fictional character in this life or another, #1 choice would be Ryu from Street Fighter 2. Ever the perfectionist, plus he never seemed to have a need for shoes.
