OK, this is about the point where I usually decide I've had enough. Linking articles that list actual legislation is worthless if the articles come from left leaning sites. But some quotes from the president saying we need to do something about the gun problem is concrete evidence that Obama's coming for everybody's guns. No wonder you couldn't be a lawyer.

Obama's agenda is crystal clear and he has never been straightforward about his goals because if he were he would never be able to make it stick. But it's an important point! Whichever GOP candidate gets the nod is going to have to run against Hillary, not the ghost of Obama's two terms. I'm not voting for Hillary, there's been enough Clinton/Bush in Washington DC over the last thirty years. It's thankfully looking like Jeb!'s campaign has beached itself so maybe I can vote Republican with a somewhat clear conscience.
I don't think my preferred candidate Cruz can beat Hillary. However, I think Trump or Rubio can.

My biggest concern at this point is a Republican candidate that actually has a chance against Hillary. All past rhetoric, politics, and posturing aside I really don't think she's the right person to lead this nation. We've already seen that gridlock isn't helpful for either side so if it's a split with one party controlling Congress and the other controlling the White House we're just going to have more of the same quagmire we've had for the last eight years. That being said, I would vote for Trump over Hillary but I don't think he's much better. My mom keeps saying Trump is a democratic plant which really pisses my dad off but I'm not sure she's wrong. It made for some highly entertaining holiday dinners over the last couple of months. Rubio vs Clinton sounds about as interesting as watching paint dry, he might have a chance if the conservative base gets fired up and Hillary fails to ignite the disinterested democrats that aren't inclined to vote for her anyway.
I think Trump is far more conservative than his past indicates. He had to play NYC politics and that required some posturing. If he is a democrat plant, I'll take my chances with him if he is the nom.
Only Rubio can beat Clinton. But for some reason I think you guys are going to fuck this up and elect Trump or Cruz. You beat Cruz by portraying him as an extremist. Easy. You beat Trump by exposing him as a phony. Conservatives say Clinton is power hungry and willing to say anything to get elected, really? Just run the 20 years worth of footage of Trump praising the Clintons, praising Democrats and espousing liberal views.
