This S&W Heavy Duty was shipped from the factory on November 9, 1934 to Meunier *** Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was shipped with a 5 inch barrel, nickel finish and checkered walnut service grips. I think I could get used to the idea of owning this ***.

Put it like this: cheap, reliable, in a calibre between 5.56 and 7.62X51, with abundant worldwide ammo (just like they're trying to develop with Remington SPC et al), worldwide availability, what's not to love about the AKM?
