Music Man's entry is called "Sterling". I like the big humbuckers on the M.M, and G&L, but the truth is, if you can afford high end, or vintage Fender basses , you will never beat that sound. I prefer the precision, over the jazz, but the fact is, Leo Fender invented the electric bass, and that sound shaped a SHITLOAD of great music.

Or buy a cheap copy, and swap out the bridge and pick ups the way you want them. Everyone makes single coil Fender replacements.

I wonder why no one has ever made a good copy, or after market Rickenbacker pick ups. I love that tone, but their basses seem to be such a pain in the ass to deal with, especially considering the cost.

Well, anyhow, I right now begun guitarplaying again, on that quite surprisingly great Squier Strat, I will do some upgrades on that, as you mentioned, nut and pickups are the first main issues, they can do the biggest improvement, I think

Didn't click. I have watched some reports on drone racing competitioins, and it is just not for me.

I have a predisposition for keeping stress on a low lever, mainly, because I have epilepsy, and that means hectic or downright stroboscope light can make me go into a seizure.

That is why I favor long camera movements, taking it slow.
