"People on the Internet are weird.", you're just realising this?
People on this board are weird, the rest of the internet is a cesspool of weird, bizarre and downright disturbing.

Must have been a pretty bad wreck. California has a helmet law, so he was wearing a lid. Beyond the motorcycle wreck, did they say specifically what killed him?

Yeah, the freeway, so high speed. It could be internal injuries, just as much as head trauma....it probably was. I had a head on, or more accurately hit the corner and went over the bars, smashed her windshield with my head, NOT wearing a lid, and crushed her car with my body, and walked away, but I think I was doing around 25 at most, and she was making a left turn, so maybe 10 mph for her. I hurt pretty bad for a few days, but man was lady luck on my side.

Hope you leave those injuries and so on behind soon.
I appreciate that Sup, but arthritis and pinched nerves usually don't fix themselves, and I'm not letting ANYONE cut into my spine.

I hear ya, have another anniversary coming up next year I NEVER could believe I would reach myself.

Regarding OPs on your body, yes, I once thought about a possible OP that might possibly fix my epilepsy, but it would have meant getting my brain getting getting put a cut in, and if they fuck up, I might have lost my ability to speak, so I passed on that one.

I am doing pretty okay, having bigger hindrances elsewhere...

Getting old, isn't nearly as fun, as the commercials on TV would lead you to believe.

Then again, so much things worried me as a young guy, now I just shrug them off, I live my life, don't care that much what neighbours etc think

It is 2:02 AM on the east coast of the US and I have been up most of the night with food poisoning. I don't want to go into detail but I think my entire system has been cleared at this point if you take my meaning. I could probably fit into a smaller pants size than I usually wear.

It was interesting to spend some time lying on my bathroom floor in considerable discomfort and have it not be related to the excessive intake of alcohol (59 days without a drink and haven't really gone hardcore with it in over a year). I wouldn't say this time was necessarily more pleasant but it did have a different dynamic since I didn't feel as personally responsible.

I'm not even what anyone would consider old yet and I'm already feeling my mindset change in that way...and it's nice! I really enjoy not feeling the need to waste energy stressing about trivial matters that used to wear on me in years past. cheers!

Today is World Braille Day. I wonder if we have blind members, too?

Since this incident, I have found diarrhea related humor in television and movies to be not as funny as I have some traumatic memories. I did some research on exposure therapy and I endeavored to rediscover the humor in loose stools by watching appropriate YouTube videos featuring this theme. I share some of my favorites below:

"Don't live your life in regret holmes". Danny Trejo, from "Bubble Boy"

I love that guy, and his role in Bubble Boy was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Oh yeah, I don't have nearly that much hair though.
