2018 U.S. mid terms - your prediction

My prediction is that the great white paranoid victim class will prevail.

Has there been a midterm in recent history where the party in power "won" the elections? Regardless of who is in power I was pretty certain that the opposition party always gains seats in a midterm. They might not always take the house/senate, but they don't lose out.

My prediction is that the dems will win some high profile seats (like that first female black governor) and win back some seats, but not enough to change the seat of power.
Both sides will claim victory: dems because they won some key seats and the GOP for retaining power.

Here my 3 midterms predictions :

1) Most predictions posted on that topic wil be wrong.
2) By January, most of those who posted wrong predictions will deny it, claim they have a brilliant record on election predictions
3) Whoever will lose the election won't admit it, won't admit they fucked up. If they loses, Republicans will blame voter fraud, claim that many illegals did vote or pretend they lost because of russian/chinese emeddling. If Democrats loses, they will blame voter suppression, gerrymandering or russian meddling

In 2010 Democrats lost 6 senate seats and Republicans gained 6 seats.
This will be a true split decision because the GOP is expected to gain senate seats while occupying the White House.

Yes, because historically the party occupying the White House always keeps the majority in the house.
And as Limbaugh pointed out today, 45 republicans retired and more than likely 1/2 to 3/4 of them would have been re-elected had they not bought into the blue wave BS hype and more than likely they would have won re-election as congressional incumbents generally fare well.

You really are just a petty partisan who has done nothing but whine and moan of sour grapes since election night.

As for lying fear mongering presidents, no, we don’t like them and we’re glad Trump’s predecessor is long gone.
