Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Panther, the networks just started their new seasons of shows. Yes, advertising plays a big part in that, but the network isn't going to run a week of promos for a new episode, then have to change plans because the WS can start on a Friday instead of a Tuesday.

Game 1's date is set in stone. Did you notice how the ALCS and NLCS were both on cable channels that don't offer new programming or shows that are first-run.

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
Good for the Royals, I always gave em hell but they finally put a great core together and have a shut down BP.

Pablo Sandoval's World Series stats:

8 for 19
3 HR
.947 SLG
1.397 OPS

Royals will still win this but not a sweep. Royals in 6 is my prediction.

Royals with no media star power are stepping it up at the right time.

Pretty dominant win by the Giants. I think they'll win the series and I hope they do; they're one of the teams I generally cheer for. I just wanna comment on the lack of substance that Fox has been able to put out there to comment on the game along with Joe Buck. Buck is a gem and a legend, but the absence of the retired Tim McCarver is quite apparent. Harold Reynolds is one of those guys who just likes to hear himself talk and Tom Verducci barely says anything. Not very good broadcasting. Hopefully in the years to come they can find someone to sit alongside Buck who deserves to do so. That being said, anybody is better than Rick Sutcliffe, who is the biggest clown in the history of baseball broadcasting, so it could be worse.

Shields was a joke tonight putting the Royals down 3-0 from jump street and they couldn't recover.

However Bumgarner was dominated. Game two is a key win for the Royals,

I see where you're coming from even if I'm OK with both of them. As far as I'm concerned, Jim Palmer is the best ex-player broadcaster in the biz.

I agree 100%. Harold Reynolds should stay in MLB-TV's studio to play the sidekick to Greg Amsinger along with Dan Plesac. He's not a good play-by-play analyst. Veducci reminds me of "Monte" from Major League. Everyone used to make fun of McCarver but the longer he's gone, the more I appreciate the insights he brought to the game.
