I believe it was around the time the second coming of Christ appeared and was inaugurated the president of the United States. So yeah, we're all dead, that's a bit of a bummer, right? Of course as I'm sure is already becoming apparent, this is in fact "Hell." Once you get over the drab greyness that is currently filling what's left of your soul you'll realise that it's not so bad here once you get used to it.

Yes a catastrophe did befall an ancient civilization the Minoan civilization being a likely candidate. But crucially the utopian ideal of what Atlantis stood for was an invention of Plato. Just saying a city of antiquity got washed away by a tsunami is not the same as the myth of Atlantis, its water based destruction is just one element.

There's going to be ***** of nature that wipes a city out here and there every now and then, but that just comes with the territory. The earth is fucked in the event of a big solar phenomena, but that probably won't happen in my lifetime so ima sit back and chill. Just goes to show you though that no matter how knowledgeable and advanced we are, our extinction is inevitable.
We're lucky that our sun has a relatively smaller mass than other stars out there in the universe, so we're not going to be wiped out by a supernova.
