Most of the olympic sports are boring.

Football/soccer is the greatest sport EVER

The whole GB football team in the olympics though is the most stupid idea i have ever heard though.
Speaking from a non English point of view.

I'd love to go there to see some meetings. But I don't think I will be able to afford it. So I will just watch it on TV.

I'd love to see American football as an Olympic sport. I'm just picturing a 5'7" South Korean QB dropping back to pass with Ray Lewis coming at him with a full head of steam. Or watching said South Korean team try to tackle Maurice Jones-Drew.

Football is 22 men walking around and kicking each other in the nuts.
"Football" is an endless commercial break.
But the olympics is a great chance to watch other sports I normally don't watch.

It's all fuckin' awesome. There is nothing like Olympic (International) competition. Hockey is still the best Olympic (Winter) event. Nothing comes close as far as the blood and guts spilled for some hardware.

As far as b-ball it would be cool if Dirk and Germany got the gold for Dirk to have a ring and the gold within the relatively same time period.
