I was glad to see The Foo Fighters win Rock Album of the year. I have been a fan of that band for a long time.

Hey they deserved that award, not everyone can lip-sync and make it look that damned real. Damn their bad luck with faulty equipment.

I thought Amy Winehouse gave a pretty good performance. I think so many people are geniunely interested in her career...I hope she takes her success and becomes a serious star.

I think Alicia Keys is the most overrated singer ever. She can play the piano about as well as I can play the Horn of Helm's Deep. It amazes me that people continue to be suckered in by her fraudulent "talent." She is only successful because she can marginally sing and is attractive...not Beyonce attractive, but attractive nonetheless...

i didn't watch but i did listen to a few mentions of winners on the radio at work today . i really don't know much of the top mainstream artists . the herbie hancock thing really was a shock to me i never had heard of it and never thought there would be any joni mitchell/herbie hancock connections .

Yeah slayer was a suprise for me too...but they're great band so congrats!!!
