2007 MLB Thread

well guys and gals, its that time of the year. teams are in camp and gearing up for battle. this being the 10th anniversary of the indians getting screwed, it will be the tribe's year. :D

lets get this going and enjoy a wonderful season of major league baseball.

Go Cubbies!

I'm happy with the Cubs moves this year. Especially Soriano and Pinella. Hopefully Sa-Mar-jha(lol i live right by Notre Dame and see his damn name in the paper all the time, but i still can't spell it)) will slip into the rotation.

And you know it's spring training time, because Kerry Wood is hurt again! I wish they'd unload him. But that's just personal. He's good, but I hate the bastard. :1orglaugh

My beloved Angels have the starting pitching and the bullpen to keep the rest of your teams in their rearview mirrors all year.

I didn't most of the cubs move this year. It seems they have the same old Cub philosophy going.

I'm rooting for my Hometown Toronto Blue Jays...they finished 2nd last year in the Ultra Tough AL East...heres hoping they can do better and maybe get the wild card or even win the AL East :glugglug:

Go Dodgers! :D

That sould have the word "like" between "didn't" and "most". :1orglaugh

Anyway soon it will be 100 years since they last won a championship. Oh well go Cubs.

The problem with the Cubbies is that they never seem to address their problems, I thought they needed to make a serious effort this off season to improve their pitching and what do they do, they over spend and lock into a long term deal an outfielder (granted hes awesome) but it wasnt what they really needed to do to improve their situation.

they wont go after pitching because ownership has their thumbs up wood and prior's assholes. they still believe these two are the answer to their losing ways.

Lets Go Dodgers Blueeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

you know why dodger fans say go blue? because they have won only a single playoff game since 1988. :1orglaugh

meh, they are still easier to like than the university of los angeles out of anaheim from long beach angels.

that's almost as bad as the new orleans hornets from oklahoma city

the hornets have two valid reasons though. one is they play some games in oklahoma city. thats because of reason two. now the angels, whats their reason? i know it. its because they want to be los angeles. moreno wanted the dodgers and he decided to make the angels "los angeles", but no matter how hard they try they will always be a joke as long as they wear the la tag.

What's even worse is the fact the Cubs are now paying for the abuse they put those pitchers under for all those years. Wood will never be what people once thought he was or could be. I already knew that years ago. Dusty Baker didn't help matters either when he came in. He might have been one of the worst managers I have seen when it comes to handling young pitchers. He also seemed to have a fetish for aged over the hill veterans, in favor of the younger position players that might not only have been better than who was out there, but might of actually had a future. I'm glad he's gone, but then they had to go and bring in somebody that was almost as bad as Dusty.

My beloved Angels may not know where to locate themselves, but they will always be Los Angeles' A Team.
