Funny list. At least they're not Nickelback, though the way the radio station down here plays them all the time I could swear they believe that Nickelback is the second coming of the Beatles.

"Down here"? Hell? :flame:

I vote that this thread's title be changed to "100 Reasons Why Freeones is a Continuous Source of Conflict". Who's with me?

The Beatles, undeniably, were a big part of the foundation of rock n' roll music today, whether you're a fan of them or not. They helped expand the genre's boundaries beyond what anybody had done before. You can look at almost any musician, and it's guaranteed that they'll say that one of their influences was the Fab Four.

The only thing I can fault them for is introducing Yoko Ono to the modern world, she's got about as much talent as Octomom, except she actually knew who her baby's daddy was.

Ahh a Beatles thread......
I don't know much about The Beatles, only that Very simply,
musicalogically and ethniically, The Beatles were essentially
empirical mélanges of a rhythmically radical but yet verbally
passe and temporarily transcended lyrical content welded with
historically innovative melodical material, transposed , transcended
and transmogrified by the angst of the beatlesque ethnic experience
which elevated them from essentially alpha exponents of in essence
millibeta potential harmonic material into the prime cultural exponents
of an alien codensic cosmic stanza form- Stanley J. Krammerhead III Jr.

Looking back at the whole beatles thing one can't deny their influence on the future of rock.
It was big.
On the music itself, well it was a series of catchy 3 minute tunes that many people really loved. At least up until Sgt Peppers.
After Pepper and mystery tour the white album was mostly outtakes and then you had one more good album and one mediocre.
but like them or not they were an important ingredient to the history of rock and roll.

Definitely not. That dubious honor has to go to one of the ten mosque or gay rights threads.

The Beetles, just like the Rolling Stones and Elvis didn't suck but were massively overrated.

Actually, now that I think more about it, it should go to that thread proclaiming BlueBalls as his own father.

Truly, they were the Jonas Brothers/Justin Biebers of their time :sarcasm:

The fact that, 40 years after they split, some dickwad decides to publish a list of "100 reasons why the Beatles suck" must say something of their importance, whether you like their music or not. :2 cents:

Also, why does "Thee Stables" being any anagram of their name mean they "suck"? Is it related to the "bigger than Jesus" thing? :dunno:
