Why do I think this movie that is set in 10,000 B.C. is going to be populated with people who have a late 20th century/early 21st century "attitude".

this movie is going to suck.

the good news is I just saved a bunch of money by switching to geico!

It's so easy a caveman can do it.

but camilla belle is extremly yummy to me. I hope she stays faithful to the original source material, and by that I mean raquel welches furry bikini.

You should have put the word movie in thread title I think

It looks pretty good to me. :) Great producers, so that in itself says volumes.

The only caveman movie ever that didn't completely suck was Premium Link Upgrade (fur bikinis or not...) Anybody remember the feminist dud Ayla and the Clan of the Cave Bear? :crash:

And I never liked Emmerich either... Independence Day ... gakk!

Looks very good I might have to check it out.

Cool elephant/mammoth effects. Fortunately they show enough of them on the commercials that I won't need to see the other 90-120 minutes or however long it is of what will probably be the suck.

At least this movie is something different than what Hollywood usually churns out.

I hope I have the money to see this in the theater.

Well, they get credit for going so far back in history that there's very little way to sharpshoot the crap they churn out in the case of movies like this... at least until the guys on IMDb start flooding the Goofs section after the first week. ;)

Roland Emmerich's movies are only good for a single viewing, after that, they just suck.Independence Day was pretty entertaining the first time around and it was kinda cool seeing **** get fucked up in The Day After Tomorrow, but when you watch for a second time, they become unbearable, and I won't even mention Godzilla. So with a terrible track record of movies, even though this does look like it could be a good movie,I'm pretty sure that it won't be...But wtf,I'll go see it anyway.

Looks interesting to me. So another special effects movie version of 300 vs. Ice-age *******? I wish those Sabre tooth cats would still be around....how cool would that be?

I couldn't agree more. You know the special effects are gonna be really well done but the plot's gonna suck.

Not to mention after skinning one you could have a fur covering for a 2-story house. Now what could be cooler than that?

That'd be awesome. I'd love a mammoth-fur house. That'd be pretty bitchin'. :1orglaugh
