As much as I want to be a Big 12 homer..... I just can't. Texas hasn't given me a reason to pick them over Alabama. Besides QB edge, I can't find anyhing that gives Texas the advantage. Alabama 27, Texas 14 :( I hope I'm wrong.

I don't know how deep Texas is, but having Thomas Robinson, Tyshawn Taylor, Markieff Morris, and Tyrel Reed coming off the bench, is pretty impressive to me. I know for sure Kansas has the best starting 5, especially with Sherron Collins at the point.

I wonder how Texas matches up with the Alabama power run game? I know from watching OU playing Stanford, it's going to be a difficult match-up. Big 12 teams are designed to defend the spread and are not use to seeing teams with 2-3 tight end sets. I think Alabama plays a much different game...
