Yes, blu-ray discs are very scratch resistant, especially compared to DVDs. Not totally impossible to damage, but you'd have to be really trying to hurt them. Totally go for used games, for $60 you can get 2 or 3 games easily, especially when Gamestop and the like have that "buy 2 get 1 free"...
