The first half of Martyrs is a pretty extreme example of a movie where a girl is getting back at the people who have hurt her in the past. But there´s nothing "hot" about it in this movie, it´s just horrifying and heartbreaking.

You should watch movies from other countries than the US. You could start with italian directors like Dario Argento, Mario Bava and Lucio Fulci. Their movies were often heavily cut (or ******) in many countries when they first came out but most of their movies have been released uncut on dvd now.
