I have never had the problem like you describe. However it happened to me too, on mostly other boards, that my reply didn't go thru and everything was lost. Therefore I always do "Ctrl + A," "Ctrl + C,".... with a long post, like Parker wrote already.

Do you have Active-X enabled in your browser settings ? (Internet Options --> Security --> Custome Level)
