One of my favorites that seems awfully underrated was Brute *****. The multiplayer for it was so...easy. All other players had to do was press start when they wanted to join in, or quit when they wanted out without interrupting the other player(s). Pretty nifty.

Ugh. I guess I won't say anything bad about it specifically, not having played it, but everytime I go to the public library all the computers are constantly clogged up with little **** playing this game. At least with EverQuest they run out of money eventually...

Oy. Halo 2 'hackers' are annoying as hell. They've done pretty well getting rid of all that with Xbox Live, but I'm often playing on Xlink Kai and it can just about ruin games. Thankfully, those using that kind of stuff are usually garbage at actually playing the game.
