Yeah, he can play it, but, as I said, his natural position is first. If he gets significant playing time in New York, I will genuinely be surprised. I say this not to offend any Yankee fans, but he's probably not going to fit the mold as a typical Yankee hitter.

Swisher's natural position is first. Since he's now been relegated to outfield duty, the Yankees would be wise to put him in right, followed by left. Personally, I think he's there as trade bait first and as a potential member of the team second.
